Speaking at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in the US recently, Garrett Chief Technology Officer Craig Balis emphasized the great opportunity Transportation Systems, and soon Garrett – Advancing Motion, will have in the realm of boosting hybrid and electric vehicles.

Global media publication Automotive News covered the event and stated, “The way Balis sees it, turbochargers complement hybrids that use a gasoline or diesel engine combined with an electric motor. Garrett is one of the industry’s largest producers of turbochargers, with sales of more than $3 billion annually.”​
