Garrett teams around the globe participated in the company’s annual Diversity & Inclusion Week from Oct. 26 – 30, with each engagement contributing to support the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to help families and children hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 1,000 employees working from home and the manufacturing plants in +12 countries joined the week-long activities as they shared stories about the influence of diversity, attended special trainings and presentations about the power of inclusion, and more.

Every engagement from employees added a link to the ongoing “Garrett Inclusion Chain,” a digital pass-it-forward string of people’s experiences and activities that further promote a highly inclusive culture within the company. Each “link” contributed to Garrett’s support of UNICEF’s COVID-19 solidarity fund.

“Diversity & Inclusion are extremely important to Garrett and they serve as a major part of our company DNA. Together as a global team, we not only helped to bring even more awareness to the importance of inclusion but also supported a great organization that is working to ensure the most vulnerable are not excluded,” said Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain, Thierry Mabru, who also serves as the company’s Diversity and Inclusion executive sponsor. “True inclusion broadens mindsets, drives inspiration and promotes more diverse ideas both professionally and personally.
