China. New Seizure Against Garrett Trade Mark Infringements
Following Garrett’s campaign to protect consumers and prevent the use of counterfeited products last May, more than 100 products infringing Garrett trade marks were seized in different raids carried out in the cities of Zhangjiang and Dali. The infringements were not only related to Garrett brand name, but in some cases also concerned the characteristic Garrett compressor wheel design that was copied. Some local companies had also used names that looked similar to Garrett such as “Gaiintt” in an attempt to mislead the consumers. These new trade mark protection actions were also published by local press:

This is another success of the Garrett China Trademark & IP protection team in one of the world biggest hotspots of trademark infringements.
