Graduate and Internship programs
Garrett’s Internship Programs enable students to connect theoretical knowledge with practical responsibilities in the spirit of ‘living laboratories’ during which they are encouraged to take ownership of business projects and define tactics to meet their project goals. We also run a Graduate Program which provides graduates with a unique 2-year opportunity to gain experience and exposure to Garrett’s cutting-edge technologies while at the same time building leadership skills in a fast-paced and professional work environment.
Mentoring and Scholarships
Garrett sponsors Formula SAE and Formula Student teams in several countries, mentoring engineering students. The company also sponsors the European BEST Engineering Competition (EBEC), the biggest international technical competition in Central Europe and provides mentoring to technical and economic students through its ‘Next Generation of Innovators’ program in Romania. In partnership with three colleges in India, Garrett is also supporting students in STEM fields such as mechanical engineering, IT and computer science through merit-based financial grants which help cover their university fees. By 2023, the program will be supporting 60 students, half of whom will be female.

Community STEM awareness
Garrett research and development centers, plants and offices regularly open their doors – physically or virtually – for students, employees’ families and educators to inspire more passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) within our host communities. Garrett volunteers have helped hundreds of students from schools and universities across the world to learn about the fundamental concepts of energy, electrochemistry, and marketing/management.
