Turbo Speed Monitoring
This Garrett turbocharger features a fully machined turbo speed sensor port. Monitoring turbocharger shaft speed is recommended to help prevent overspeed and protect long-term durability, especially when operating at higher performance levels. Compatible speed sensor kits are available separately. Use PN 923586-0002 (G-Smart Bluetooth Module / App) or Speed Sensor Kit 781328-0001 (street kit w/ gauge) or 781328-0002 (pro kit w/o gauge)

Will I need tuning?
Performance results are highly dependent on your vehicle’s modifications and tuning/calibration. The horsepower values referenced are based on laboratory flow testing and represent total turbo capability. ECU calibration may be required depending on your setup and performance goals.

Compressor Housing Compatibility
G-Series II is a direct upgrade path for Gen I customers with just a CHRA purchase because the compressor housings have the same contour. This allows existing Gen I customers to use their compressor cover when upgrading.
A one-piece center housing and backplate increase durability and product safety by reducing the number of failure points associated with the turbocharger. The center housing to turbine housing V-Band connection allows for 360 degree orientation when installing with Garrett non-wastegated turbine housings.
