Pac Performance Unveils New RX9 Pro Car Featuring Garrett G-Series Turbocharger

The Pac Performance team recently unveiled a new pro drag race car set to compete in the Factory Xtreme class. The RX9, a project in the works for several race seasons, was fast-tracked after an incident with the Mazda6 SP during testing. The new RX9, built on a Reese Brothers Race Cars chassis originally designed as a C7 Corvette Pro Mod, now sports the iconic Pac yellow and a sleek new livery.
Under the hood, the RX9 is powered by a Billet By Pac 20B engine, boosted by a single Garrett Motion G-Series G57 turbocharger. This setup ensures the car receives a steady supply of charged air through a custom intake manifold. The team opted for a Liberty transmission backed by a Quick Drive to maintain consistency and performance during testing.
The new lightweight chassis and body provide significant advantages over the previous setup, making the RX9 race-ready in record time. The RX9 is set to debut at Sydney Dragway, marking an exciting time for the Pac Performance team. The team’s dedication and the advanced technology of Garrett G-Series Turbochargers are set to make a significant impact in the upcoming race season.
