2024 World Time Attack Challenge | Garrett International Drifting Cup
Time Attack format is not unlike a qualifying lap in traditional motorsport with competitors racing against the clock with the fastest single lap collecting the prize. While there is no door-to-door racing as such, teams are actively competing against each other and there are plenty of strategies, decisions and tricks of the trade to squeeze every one-hundredth of a second on that final lap.

The Romanian Drift Community established RoDrift in 2014, and over the years, it has evolved from an enthusiastic amateur club into a professional community. Under the auspices of the Federation of Motorsport and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, RoDrift hosts exciting drift competitions at various locations across Romania.
The collaboration between RoDrift and Garrett Motion is an exciting development for motorsport enthusiasts in Romania. This partnership aims to promote and raise awareness of drift racing and motorsport in the region.

Webinar: Secondary Air Injection with 48V E-Compressor
Secondary air injection is one of the most promising technical solutions for reducing cold-start emissions and meeting future emissions regulations. Currently, low-power systems are used that only allow catalyst heating at low engine loads. However, electrically assisted boost systems are needed for dynamic boundary conditions.
The recent measurement campaign at Garrett corroborates simulation studies performed in the past, reinforcing the potential of SAI systems with electric boosting to meet and exceed upcoming emission regulations.
