Under ultra-lean operating conditions (Lambda >2,5) H2-ICE produce almost no NOx emission. This creates challenging requirements for the charging system but gives the industry the opportunity to offer ICE powertrain from their existing industrial base and supply chain at zero CO2 and ultra-low NOx tailpipe emission.
