Garrett Motion’s Oil-Free Centrifugal Compressor Technology Advances Data Center Cooling Applications

Engineered for industrial HVAC and cooling applications, Garrett’s oil-free centrifugal compressor combines high-speed centrifugal compression and oil-free air foil bearing technology to deliver high efficiency and reliability while reducing maintenance requirements. Operating at more than 90,000 RPM, the compressor supports the adoption of next-generation low-GWP refrigerants. Its compact design is more than 50% smaller and 80% lighter than conventional solutions, helping lower total cost of ownership while delivering sustainability benefits.
