Garrett Motion Drivers Competition Day at Formula Drift St. Louis
Its competition day at Formula Drift St. Louis at World Wide Technology Raceway for the Garrett Motion drift team.
Drivers get seat time in the morning to get acclimated with the course, test new boost settings and ultimately prepare for the main competition. Given only two back to back runs, drivers must compete in a heated tandem battle base on their position from qualifying with the top taking on the bottom qualifiers in a top 16 elimination match.
Full speed entries drivers must push their cars and themselves to the absolute limit being judged on several criteria including speed, smoke, angle, style and proximity as they traverse the course hitting all mandatory clipping points.
