On August 3-6, Garrett Motion will participate at the Annual Academic Conference on high-efficiency low carbon, and clean combustion of internal combustion engines, in Harbin – China, presenting the company’s recent study on heavy-duty hydrogen engines.
Presentation key take-aways:
- H2-ICE requires high boost pressure and fast response with low exhaust gas enthalpy
- Scaling up LP and using HP E-VNT can maintain high Lambda and correct Transient
- Electrification of LP could also produce an even stronger effect but more electrical power required
