For the second consecutive year Garrett has improved its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) score from EcoVadis, an independent CSR ratings company whose reports are closely monitored by several of the world’s best automotive manufacturers.

 

“The 2020 Silver Medal is an important achievement for Garrett as EcoVadis raises the bar each year on its sustainability reporting and grading criteria,” said Chief Technology Officer Craig Balis. “Our core purpose is to help enable vehicles to be cleaner and safer, but we can only deliver on this commitment if we also pay close attention to the way we operate every day as a business.”

 

The score and accompanying Silver Medal recognizes Garrett’s commitment to continuous improvement in four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. This year’s score places Garrett within the top 15% of companies operating in the automotive supplier industry and among the top 25% of all companies across multiple industries rated by EcoVadis.
