Mad Mike Conquers Pikes Peak, Claiming World Record Time with Four-Rotor Turbocharged Mazda Engine
Whiddett’s “Bullet,” a TCP-Magic masterpiece conquered the daunting 12.42 mile, 156 turn course to Pikes Peak and achieved an official lap time of 10:34.980. This monumental run not only secured the title of the fastest Mazda ever at Pikes Peak but also etched Mad Mike and his dedicated team from TCP Magic into racing history as they achieved the fastest rotary engine time in the event’s 101-year history.
