Garrett experts will be presenting two technical papers focusing on key breakthrough technologies in the world of gasoline and electric turbocharging during the 25^th annual Supercharging Conference in Dresden, Germany.

The global event, which has shifted to a livestream event for 2020, caters to automotive industry engineers and business leaders at both the OEM and supplier levels.

Garrett engineering leaders authored two technical papers that dive deep into the inner workings and benefits of two innovative and differentiated technologies:

• 5 at 4:30 p.m. (GMT/UTC+1) – Garrett Technical Paper: “SC-VNT™ a route toward high efficiency for Gasoline Engines”
  • “This paper shows how such a machine can be realized with a single shaft with a single VNT turbine and will discuss results from a collaboration project between Audi, AVL and Garrett.” Click here to view the paper’s full abstract.
• 6 at 12 p.m. (GMT/UTC+1) – Garrett Technical Paper: “Electric Turbo, a Technology for Stoichiometric Combustion and increased Efficiency”
  • “This paper explains the principle of the turbocharger matching with regards to the λ=1 objective and includes the main results of experimental investigations conducted on engine dynamometer and on a C segment vehicle, highlighting torque, power, transient capability and fuel consumption benefit of the proposed E-Turbo solution compared to the base-line.
