The Australian Garrett by Honeywell team witnessed the stunning victory of the Boat Mistress’ team.

The Southern 80 is one of the highest profile water ski races each year, happening on the Murray River in front of thousands of spectators eager to watch 200 boats competing against each other.

This year, first place went to “The Mistress”, with an 8 litre big block V8 using twin GTX4508R, developing around 1800 hp and achieving speeds of 130 MPH.

The winning team led from start to finish, covering the 80km course from Torrumbarry to Echuca / Moama in 30mins 23.6secs.
