Senior Application Engineer, Harut Stepanyan discusses the latest in Garrett performance turbo technology featuring the new G Series product lineup. G Series is the latest evolution of performance turbochargers to hit the market and the team at Garrett just released the long anticipated G35-900 and G35-1050 turbos. The new G Series dual ball bearing turbochargers feature all new compressor and turbine wheel aerodynamics that provide increased flow and efficiency when compared to previous generations. These turbochargers have an all new design that integrates the backplate to the center housing to increase durability and ease of installation. Mar-M turbine wheel construction and stainless steel v-band and T4 turbine housings provide a temperature rating up to 1050 °C. Standard and reverse rotation options give enthusiasts the opportunity to build symmetrical turbocharger kits for twin turbo applications.
