Why Garrett? 

Sujin joined Garrett in 2011, attracted by the diverse nature of the company’s workforce and its global footprint. Thirteen years on, she still loves the fact that her daily routine involves lots of international contact and engagement with people from many different backgrounds.

“Day-to-day, I’m focused on supporting a wide variety of sourcing projects for Garrett’s automotive programs. As a specialist buyer, what really stands out for me is the quality of Garrett’s procurement processes and procedures which, along with great sourcing tools, provides excellent opportunities for personal development.

What motivates you every day?  

“My character is naturally very energetic and, as a result, the Garrett work environment is a perfect fit for me. My role involves a lot of negotiation and problem solving, and often this means many conversations with both my international colleagues and our suppliers.

“I love the diversity of my role and the inclusive work environment. As a company, we celebrate distinct cultures and value everyone’s experiences. I bring my natural enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a methodical approach to finalizing each project.”

Sujin applies the same energy levels to her life outside work, notably in raising twin girls, with whom she enthusiastically shares her love of history and historic places.
