Garrett Advancing Motion took a leap into the electronic product segment with the launch of the G-Smart Module. This cutting-edge product seamlessly transmits turbo speed and boost, via Bluetooth directly to your mobile device. Marking a significant milestone for Garrett, the G-Smart Module incorporates a Bluetooth module paired with a user-friendly plug-and-play wiring harness. Notably, this harness accepts not only Garrett threaded and flange style speed sensors but also sensors from other manufacturers, expanding its compatibility.

One of the standout features of the G-Smart Module is its Bluetooth functionality, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for wires to pass through the vehicle’s firewall. The G-Smart mobile phone app, compatible with both iPhone and Android devices, provides users with a comprehensive dashboard that displays turbo speed and boost pressure in a gauge format, offering real-time insights into the turbo’s performance. As users approach maximum turbo speed, the signal transitions from green to yellow and finally to red. This visual cue enhances user awareness over the turbocharger’s performance. The app all allows users to review up to 120 seconds of data, with the ability to pause the data feed for a detailed analysis of the turbocharger’s performance.

In a noteworthy recognition at the PRI tradeshow, the G-Smart Module secured the title of Top Engine Product in the featured product showcase, as chosen by PRI (Performance Racing Industry). This accolade not only places Garrett’s product at the pinnacle of engine-related innovations but also positions it as top three in the Best Engine Product category.

Adding to the accolades, Garrett’s G-Smart Module found favor with PRI’s guest Judge Garrett Read (Founder of American Muscle HD), who identified it as his favorite new product at the PRI tradeshow.
