Razvan Chiţu

Razvan has worked as an Engineer for more than 6 years, his expertise bridging several areas: from CNC programming and new equipment upgrades to industrial processes standardization. From his current role as Final Assembly Process Leader at Garrett Motion, Razvan is responsible of new equipment and tooling development, he is following the global production capacity, and he oversees process standardization for all the Garrett plants worldwide.

At Garrett, he is involved in a series of dynamic projects like the development of the assembly process for future automotive technologies, and he coordinates multiple exciting new equipment installations while creating a friendly, team work focused environment for his colleagues.

“Do not follow only high income from your first jobs. Use your capacity of learning to accumulate as many information as you can. This will guarantee you a strong knowledge foundation and constant evolution in time. In your first years of development the best asset that you have is your energy. Use it for your self-development and not for running from one job to another just to increase your revenue without learning too many things. This will make you happy for the moment but will not help you to evolve in the future,” says Razvan to the young engineering professionals.

Razvan lucrează ca inginer de peste 6 ani, expertiza sa acoperind o arie variată de domenii: de la programare CNC şi dezvoltări de noi echipamente la standardizare de procese industriale. În rolul său actual, Final Assembly Process Leader la Garrett Motion, Răzvan este responsabil de dezvoltarea  de echipamente şi dispozitive noi de producţie, urmăreşte capacitatea de producţie globală şi coordonează standardizarea proceselui de asamblare în toate fabricile Garrett, la nivel global.

La Garrett, el este implicat într-o serie de proiecte dinamice ce vizează tehnologii viitoare şi coordonează multiple instalări de echipamente noi, în timp ce, în calitatea sa de lider, creează un mediu de lucru prietenos şi centrat pe lucrul în echipă pentru colegii săi.

“Nu vă lăsaţi ghidaţi doar de un salariu mare. Utilizaţi-vă capacitatea de învăţare şi acumulaţi cât mai multă informaţie din cât mai multe domenii. Acest lucru vă va garanta o fundaţie şi vă va asigura o evoluţie constantă în timp. În primii ani de dezvoltare, cel mai bun activ pe care îl veţi avea este energia voastră. Utilizaţi-o pentru dezvoltarea voastră şi nu pentru a fugi de la un job la altul atraşi de partea financiară, dar fără a învăţa foarte multe lucruri. O altfel de abordare te va face fericit doar pe termen scurt, nu te va ajuta să evoluezi pentru viitor”. Acesta este sfatul lui Răzvan pentru tinerii la început de carieră.
