盖瑞特行业首创电动涡轮增压技术斩获2021美国汽车新闻PACE大奖
领先的汽车行业差异化技术供应商盖瑞特（纳斯达克代码：GTX）日前凭借电动涡轮增压技术荣获了2021美国汽车新闻PACE大奖。PACE奖项全称为全球汽车供应商杰出创新贡献奖，旨在表彰对行业技术创新做出突出成就的汽车供应商。该奖项由独立的专业评审团选出并于9月30日通过在线颁奖典礼揭晓。 “凭借电动涡轮增压技术这一创新科技，盖瑞特斩获PACE大奖，我们十分高兴。”盖瑞特总裁兼首席执行官芮博廉先生表示，“此次不但是我们10年内第四次获取PACE殊荣，而且也是我们在电气化领域的第一个重磅奖项，它是盖瑞特开发高度差异化的先进技术，力争行业首创应用的最佳例证。盖瑞特电动涡轮增压器借鉴了公司自身在高速电机、高功率密度电机、大电流和高开关频率逆变器以及电机控制软件方面的先进工程能力。在开发这项突破性技术的过程中，我们世界一流的工程师成功克服了热管理、能量回收、结构紧凑以及大批量和低成本设计等方面的许多挑战。盖瑞特有充分的技术储备支持汽车电气化的未来，包括混合动力车、氢燃料电池和任何其他需要新方法来解决行业最紧迫需求的问题的应用。” 盖瑞特的电动涡轮增压器利用位于涡轮轴上的高速电机来更快地驱动压气机工作并消除涡轮迟滞，从而显著提高发动机瞬态响应性能和发动机低端扭矩。这项新技术在实现更多动力和更快响应的同时，可进一步提高发动机效率。此外，在某些驾驶工况下，电动涡轮增压器可以模拟发电机工作以回收部分浪费的能量，直接为混动汽车的电机供电或为电池充电，让汽车制造商在混合动力系统设计方面具备更大的灵活性。 盖瑞特副总裁兼首席技术官Craig Balis表示，我们的硬件支持 48 伏或 400 伏的混动系统这一快速增长的细分市场，它为汽车厂商满足严格的排放和油耗法规提供了有效的解决方案，并为卓越的动力性能表现树立了行业新标杆。我们内部工程团队开发的高速电机布置在距排气温度超过 1,000°C的涡壳仅几英寸的位置，可驱动增压器转速超过 200,000 rpm，能在如此极端条件下稳定提供电动辅助增压并为车辆的电气系统实现能量回收。 盖瑞特已宣布将自今年第四季度起在一条最先进的、完全专用的全新自动化生产线上量产电动增压器。该技术将于明年在梅赛德斯-AMG 豪华混动汽车上首次大规模应用。同时盖瑞特正在与世界各地的客车和商用车客户推进多个其他电气化项目。
