Accelerating Profile at Europe’s Biggest Auto Event

With more than 100 premieres unveiled by global car makers, Paris Motor Show once again lived up to its reputation as one of the world’s most important auto events.

And Honeywell was there in force – with products from Turbo, Friction Materials and Specialty Materials creating a multi-technology platform that generated a real buzz among the media, OEM customers and consumers alike.

The show presented a great opportunity for some high level meetings with top industry executives and OEM decision-makers – as well as being the perfect environment for media interviews with internationally-renowned news outlets.

Honeywell ran a strong PR campaign before and during the show, which resulted in extensive coverage on Alex Ismail (President of Honeywell Transportation Systems) being named a 2010 Eurostar by Automotive News Europe and media interest in both the latest Honeywell application successes (including new technologies for premium engines) and the most recent global turbo trends.

To maximize the company’s presence at the show – and to drive traffic to the Booster Online website – Honeywell Turbo created an online banner ad campaign around the theme “First Name in Turbocharging” within the Paris Motor Show section of Automotive News Europe. Videos created for the Paris show are also available to view at Booster Online.
