FRANKFURT, Sept. 13, 2016 — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Transportation Systems and its Honeywell Garrett aftermarket brand are going digital at Automechanika Frankfurt 2016, providing better, up-to-date access to portfolio and dealer network information. In addition, visitors to Hall 4, Booth 30 can play an interactive game for a chance to win any turbocharger of their choice from Honeywell Garrett’s aftermarket catalogue.
Honeywell Garrett is unveiling its just completed TurboConnect mobile application for iOS and Android mobile devices. Upon successful registration, the free smartphone app provides QR code scanning functionality for use with product displays, access to the company’s social media channels, a Honeywell Garrett Distributor Locator, a direct contact form and pre-loaded Honeywell Garrett portfolio content.
“The TurboConnect app is another tool for distributors, installers, garages and consumers to keep up-to-date about our products and technology,” said Eric Fraysse, Aftermarket vice president and general manager at Honeywell Transportation Systems. “We are not only committed to providing the best performing and most reliable replacement turbos in the industry, but also extending a superior level of customer service.”
Gamers can also test their turbo knowledge in a single or two-person game for the chance to win any Honeywell Garrett aftermarket replacement in its portfolio. The “Why Risk It?” quiz takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete and successful participants earn a gift bag and are entered into the grand prize raffle for the choice of turbocharger.
Other interactive displays in the Honeywell Garrett booth include a global map dealer locator and an educational infographic presenting independent lab test results to support the choice of genuine Honeywell Garrett turbochargers over copies.
